The Clam

Still continuing with beaded beads,
I have been experimenting with Super Duo twin hole beads and loving it.
The image above is a side view of my latest experiment. The shape reminds me of a Clam shell.

The image below is the top view of the bead. I think it looks very intricate.

I am going to use this bead as the centrepiece in a necklace I am making.

  1. Neat clam! I like how the bicone crystals line up on the edges of the beaded bead. I'm interested to see how you'll string it in the necklace that you're making. Can't wait to see it!

    1. Hello Cindy, thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. It will be awhile before I can show that as I am making the necklace for a publication and cannot show it just yet. In due course though.

      Cheers....Patrick

  2. Gorgeous clam, Patrick. Yes it does look very intricate, and balanced, sturdy and vintagy too. I absolutely love it. Can't wait to see how you incorporate it into a necklace.

    1. Thank you Caroline for visiting and leaving a comment. This bead will be a centre piece for a necklace I am making for a publication and cannot show the whole thing for awhile. maybe the first time it is seen will be when the book is released - if I can wait that long.
Have you been doing much beadwork lately?
      Cheers....Patrick
